R Ramachandran
R Ramachandran is the Executive Director of the National Book Development Council of Singapore. He has long been associated with the promotion of reading, writing, publishing and library development in Singapore. He has been Director, National Library, Deputy Chief Executive, National Library Board and Secretary-General of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA). He has been a member of the National Book Development Council of Singapore since 1969, serving in various capacities.
