Nury Vittachi

Nury Vittachi describes himself as a Myth Technician. He spends much of his time telling tales and teaching story skills to people from kindergarteners to university students. His novels and non-fiction books have been published around the world by major publishers in many languages. He is best known for the comedy crime novel series The Feng Shui Detective.  His daily columns, published in the newspapers of several countries and on the mrjam.org website, attract large readerships.  He appears regularly on TV and radio, and has had regular slots on the BBC and CNN. He has written comic books, and trained young writers who have gone on to help create games for companies such as Nintendo and Xbox. He co-wrote a play which won an award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Nury was born in Sri Lanka but now lives in Hong Kong with his English wife and three adopted Chinese children.
