Asia-Pacific Writing Partnership Board Members – Xu Xi, Rukmini Bhaya Nair, Robin Hemley and Catherine Cole – all took part in the 2009 Worlds Literary Festival in Norwich. 

Worlds Literary Festival, organised by the Writers Centre Norwich, invites international writers each year to engage in a week of events and public readings. Alongside the public programme, the festival also offers a daily round-table discussion session, at which writers from across the world can share thoughts and ideas. This unique Salon explores a different topic each year, and this year writers and guests were asked to think about The Creative Writer; the education of writers, issues of the market place and of translation.
