Globalisation and the State of Australian Literature

The latest issue of the Journal of the Association for the Study of Australian Literature might interest scholars exploring globalisation and Australian literature.www.nla.gov.au/openpublish/index.php/jasal/issue/current

The issue ‘Australian Literature in a Global World’ prints papers from a conference organised by the lead researchers of an Australian Research Council project called ‘Globalising Australian Literature: Asian-Australian writing, Asian perspectives on Australian literature’

It includes a paper by Asia-Pacific Writing Partnership Board Member Nicholas Jose (who in 2009 co-chairs Australian Studies at Harvard University) and one of the Partnership’s advisors who is the lead research on the ARC project, Wenche Ommundsen who is Professor of Literatures at the University of Wollongong.
