Susanna Ho

Susanna Ho is a Hong Kong-based writer who also teaches English full-time at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Her first novel Mother’s Tongue: A Story of Forgiving and Forgetting shows how a person's language use and his or her destiny can be intertwined with one another. The second one Who's that Ant? Whose Dead End? is a political satire that sees life through the eyes of ants. Susanna holds a PhD in applied linguistics. One of her many areas of interest is people's life stories. Through recounting their stories, her passion for writing was rekindled, which was a strong feeling she had since the age of five but was somehow not consciously nurtured until 2007. Now writing her next novel and anther one in the pipeline, she has made a new world for herself—a whole new world of literary creation.
