Scot Slaby

I have taught in U.S. public, private, and charter high schools as well as in a community college, and my poems have appeared in literary magazines, anthologies, and a reference work on poetic form. My pedagogical work has also been published by The Academy of American Poets on their website (https://www.poets.org/poetsorg/lesson/noticing-poetry). My newest chapbook, Bugs Us All, is a collaboration with the artist Walter Gurbo, and my chapbook of sonnets and quatorzains, The Cards We’ve Drawn, co-won the 2013 Bright Hill Press At Hand Chapbook Award. Currently, I teach at Shanghai American School.
