Luz Maria and Yuri Zambrano Lopez

Luz María López, from Puerto Rico, is a writer of poetry, narrative and essays, translator and interpreter. She is also a cultural promoter, social justice - women’s rights activist and devoted environmentalist, compliant to international campaigns. She is Continental Director of World Festival of Poetry (WFP) and World Poetry Front in Defense of the Women’s Rights (WM); Member of the Organizing Committee of the International Book Fair in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico (FILEMH); Honorary Consul for the International Parliament of Writers from Cartagena de Indias (Colombia); President in Puerto Rico of the World Union of Poets (UMP); Member (Staff Contributor) of the World Cultural Alliance (WCA), Mexico; PENN Club, Puerto Rico. She has organized many poetic events such a WFP Global Actions for World Poetry Day Celebration with happenings in more than 100 countries simultaneously; 100TPC P.R.Most recently she structured and hosts “Poetry in the Air�, a WFP radio program internationally broadcasted from Venezuela, amid working with WFP’s International Organizing Committees to consecrate Poetic Sanctuaries All Over the World. She is the author of two poetry books, “Beneath Your Skin�, written in English, and “La Hora del Vuelo� (The Flight Hour), in Spanish Language. Her poetries has been issued in several international publications such as the XXI World Literature Book, published in India (2016); “Puentes de agua� (Water Bridges), Colombia (2016); Casa de Poesía Cali, Colombia (2016), among others. She has also published several academic articles being issued in renowned international magazines and blogs. .
