Asia-Pacific Writing Partnership

1. Membership of the Asia-Pacific Writing Partnership is FREE.
2. Membership brings you in contact with a think tank of writers, publishers and others and the chance to meet with others interested in writing from the region at Partnership events.
3. Members will receive email notifications of upcoming collaborative events and therefore early notification to register (unless you request no updates).
4. Members can contact the Partnership with literary news from the region or notification of organisational events or activities relevant to the aims and interests of the Partnership. (contact: jane.camens@apwriters.com)
5. Membership enables you to keep abreast of the dialogue about writing from the region, including the impact of globalisation and work being done in areas of translation, publishing, skills development and many other areas.
6. Members are welcome to propose compatible initiatives (e.g. collaborative research projects, relevant symposium, new institutional writing programs) and directions to the Partnership for consideration by the Board. The Partnership is NOT a funding body but may work in collaboration with individuals and organizations to link them to potential funders.
7. The Partnership will, where requested, place free advertisements from members on the site for other members interested in job opportunities relevant to the development in the region’s literary infrastructure (eg. university teaching for qualified creative writers, literary festival administration etc).
